By the adoption of this chapter, the Town Board of the Town
of Little Valley determines that it is in the best interests of the
residents of the Town that Local Law 1-1977, commonly known as the
"Town of Little Valley Junkyard Ordinance," be repealed, which action
will effect the regulation of automobile junkyards in the Town of
Little Valley by § 136 of the General Municipal Law of the
State of New York from and after the effective date hereof.

the owners of established junkyards, as defined in said law, shall
furnish to the Town Board the information as to location which is
required in an application pursuant to such section, together with
the license fee, and the Town Board shall issue a license to such
owners valid until April 1, 1999, at which time each such owner may
apply for renewal upon establishing compliance with all other provisions
of § 136 of the General Municipal Law, including the fencing
requirements set forth in Subdivision 11 thereof.
