Town of Little Valley, NY Chapter 38 Legislation, Adoption of

§ 38-1 Definitions.

The following definitions shall appertain to this chapter:

TOWN

The Town of Little Valley, Cattaraugus County, New York.

TOWN CLERK

The Town Clerk of the Town of Little Valley, Cattaraugus County, New York.

§ 38-2 Notice and abstract authorized.

A. Every ordinance or local law and every amendment or supplement thereto hereafter adopted by the Town Board, which is or may be required to be published in one or more newspapers to make such ordinance, local law, amendment or supplement thereto effective, at the election of the Town Board need not be so published in full, but in its stead the Town Board may cause to be published a notice setting forth the title thereof and a brief description or abstract of the provisions thereof and a statement that the full text of said ordinance, local law, amendment or supplement thereto is on file and may be inspected in the office of the Town Clerk.

B. Without limiting the generality of § 38-2A of this chapter, this chapter shall supersede in any application to the Town the provisions of §§ 133, 264 and 265 of the Town Law relating to publication of an ordinance, local law, amendment or supplement thereto adopted by the Board.
