A certain document, one copy of which is on file in the office of the Tyrone Borough Manager, 1100 Logan Avenue, Tyrone, Blair County, Pennsylvania, being marked and designated as the "BOCA National Fire Prevention Code Ninth Edition, 1993," as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., is hereby adopted as the Fire Prevention Code of the Borough of Tyrone, Blair County, Pennsylvania, for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said BOCA National Fire Prevention Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this article.
Where the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania are more restrictive than any provision of this code, the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall take precedence.
Where the rules and regulations of the Fire Prevention Code, as herein adopted, are more restrictive than the Tyrone Borough Fire Code, the provisions of the Fire Prevention Code shall take precedence.

Any individual, firm or corporation violating any of the terms or conditions of the National Fire Prevention Code, 1993, shall be subject, upon conviction thereof before the Magisterial District Judge, to a fine in the amount of not less than $25 nor more than $1,000, with each day upon which a violation of this article exists to be considered a separate offense.
