A.
The intersections described in this section are hereby established
as stop intersections, and official stop signs shall be erected in
such a position upon the first-named street as to face traffic approaching
the second-named street in the direction or directions indicated in
said schedule. Every driver of a vehicle approaching any such intersection
upon the first-named street, in the direction or directions indicated
in each case, shall come to a full stop before entering any such intersection.

B.
Stopping distance. All vehicles approaching the stop street identified
above shall come to a full stop before entering or crossing the intersecting
or cross street.
C.
Purchase and installation of required sign(s). The appropriate officers
of the Township are authorized and directed to purchase and install
the necessary signs, in accordance with the provisions of the Vehicle
Code of Pennsylvania and regulations promulgated thereunder.
D.
Enforcement. This article shall be enforced in accordance with the
provisions of the Vehicle Code of Pennsylvania as it pertains to fines
and other penalties.
E.
Authorizing Chairman to act pursuant to 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 6109(b)(2).
The Chairman of the Marlborough Township Board of Supervisors is hereby
designated as the public official authorized to act pursuant to 75
Pa.C.S.A. § 6109(b)(2). The Board of Supervisor, after consulting
with the Chief of Police, is hereby authorized to direct the Chairman
by resolution to reasonably exercise the Township's police powers
on the streets and/or highways within Marlborough Township pursuant
to 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 6109, including the installation of additional
stop signs.

F.
Stop except right turn intersections established. The following intersections
are established as "stop except right turn intersections" and official
signs shall be erected, or are ratified if previously erected, in
such a position as to face traffic approaching the second-named street
(the through street) on the first-named street (the stop street) in
the direction or directions indicated for that intersection. Every
driver of a vehicle approaching the intersection on the first-named
or stop street, in the direction indicated in each case, if turning
right, shall not be required to stop the vehicle and shall proceed
into the second-named or intersecting street.
