There shall continue to be a Conservation Commission consisting
of seven members appointed for three-year terms, but not more than
five members shall be members of the same political party.
The Commission shall hold regular meetings. Records shall be
kept of all meetings and activities and the Commission shall file
an annual report with the Board of Selectmen.
The Commission shall have all the powers and duties provided
under §§ 7-131a to 7-131n of the General Statutes,
together with the power to regulate activities affecting wetlands
and watercourses, pursuant to Chapter 440 of the General Statutes.
