Regular, full-time/salaried employees who have completed their probationary period shall be paid for the following holidays on which Township Office will be closed: (This is subject to change by resolution of the Board of Supervisors during the reorganization meeting of any given year.)
Monday shall be recognized as a holiday for all holidays occurring on Sunday, and Friday for all holidays occurring on Saturday for those employees on normal Monday through Friday workweek. Part-time employees hired by the Township will not be paid for holidays occurring during their employment.
The Board of Supervisors shall release, on the first Monday in January, during the reorganization meeting, a list and schedule of all holidays and dates which the Township shall recognize. The purpose of this shall be to allow for a clear delineation of the dates which the Township shall observe in a given year.
