No person shall be present within the City Swimming Pool or
fenced pool enclosure surrounding such pool between 10:00 p.m. and
6:00 a.m. This section does not apply to any person whose presence
is authorized by the Council.

No person other than those specifically permitted to do so under
state or federal law shall be in possession of any firearm or weapon
in any City park without the prior approval of the Police Chief or
City Administrator with Common Council approval.
It shall be unlawful for any person to light or discharge any
fireworks within any City park or on any City property, except in
compliance with rules and regulations adopted by the Council.
It shall be unlawful for any person to play golf, practice golf
swings, or hit golf balls within or upon any public park of the City.

No person shall be in possession of any glass beverage or other
type of glass containers in a park except in shelter areas.

No horses or unleashed dogs shall be allowed in the parks at
any time unless designated an unleashed park. Owners are required
to pick up after their animals.
No person shall swim in the pond at Memorial Park or in the
Grant River at Klondyke Park.
No person over 16 years of age, except handicapped persons,
shall fish in the pond at Memorial Park.
No person shall operate or park a motor vehicle except on the
designated roadways and parking lots. This section does not apply
to authorized personnel.
No person may sell and no permit hereunder may authorize the
sale of any intoxicating liquor or fermented malt beverage in or about
City park premises, except that not to exceed four picnic licenses
per year may be issued for the area of the softball diamond and may
authorize the sale of fermented malt beverages for a period not to
exceed four days for each picnic license.
Individuals or organizations may reserve any park shelters subject
to availability and subject to the rules established for reserving
park shelters by the City Clerk/Treasurer's office.
Except as otherwise provided, any person found to be in violation of any provision of this chapter shall be subject to a penalty as provided in §
1-4 of this Municipal Code.
