The purpose of the C-2 General Commercial District is to provide areas with access to high-volume roadways and separated from low-density residential use for a variety of commercial and service uses.
A. 
Permitted principal uses. Permitted principal uses shall be as follows:
(1) 
Banks, offices and studios.[1]

Churches, education buildings and other places of worship.

Eating and drinking establishments, with or without drive-in or drive-through facilities, on a minimum lot area of 18,000 square feet.

Funeral homes.

Hospitals, clinics and philanthropic institutions.

Plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, ventilation and electrical shops.

Printing establishments.

Wholesale businesses when conducted entirely within a building.

Mobile food vendors, permitted only on a parcel that abuts Main Street, Franklin Street or Grove City Road.

B. 
Permitted accessory uses. Permitted accessory uses shall be as follows:
(1) 
Other accessory uses and structures customarily appurtenant to a permitted use.
(2) 
Public parking garages and public and private parking areas. (See § 375-128.)

Conditional uses shall be as follows:

Automobile fueling and automobile service and repair stations. (See §§ 375-98 and 375-99.)

All present combination commercial/residential uses in commercial districts are considered to be in compliance with permissible occupancy standards. All subsequent combination commercial/residential uses, whether rooming or dwelling units, must comply with the permissible occupancy standards of the R-1 Residential District from this section's effective date of passage.
