All persons are prohibited at all times from lighting, smoking, chewing or inhaling any tobacco product while in any enclosed, indoor area owned or operated by the Borough of Slippery Rock and which serves as a place of work for public employees or a meeting place for a public body.
All persons are prohibited at all times from lighting, smoking, chewing or inhaling in any vehicle owned by, used by or under the control of Slippery Rock Borough.
All Borough employees are prohibited from lighting, smoking, chewing or inhaling during their scheduled work hours, except when they are having their meal or on rest breaks, provided that they do not light, smoke, chew or inhale in any facility or vehicle as defined above.
Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a civil fine of not more than $50 for each violation.
This chapter incorporates all provisions of state law which in any way amend, modify or affect the provisions of this chapter, including but not limited to the Clean Indoor Air Act.[1]
