A. Any person, group or organization that requests the use of the Salem
City Hall, after normal working hours (normal hours are 8:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays), shall pay the
following fees:

B. If the facility rented will include the use of a caterer and alcohol
will be served by the caterer then the caterer shall provide a certificate
of insurance, City, County and State licenses to the City of Salem
at least five (5) days before the event. Failure to do so will result
in cancellation of the rental and loss of deposit.
C. If facility rented will not include a caterer but alcohol will be
served then all renters must sign a waiver of liability, provide City,
County and State licenses (if required) to the benefit of the City
of Salem.

This Article shall not apply to any political subdivision or
governmental entity; and it shall not apply to any person, group,
or organization that continues to use the City Hall auditorium for
the annual variety show and Miss Salem contest.

It shall be unlawful for any elected official or employee of
the City of Salem to waive or reduce the above stated fees for any
person, group or organization.

Any person, group or organization that requests the use of City
Hall that resides within the City Limits of Salem will not be required
to pay any rental fees during normal working hours, excluding holidays
(8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

Any person, group or organization that requests the use of City
Hall that resides outside the City Limits of Salem will be required
to pay all rental fees during normal work hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m.).

NO REFUND if cancellation of the facility rental is within forty-five
(45) days of the scheduled event.
