Editor’s Note: This ordinance also repealed former Art. II, Township Treasurer, adopted 2-3-1981 by Ord. No. 269, as amended, and provided for an effective date of 1-1-2014; see also Art. III.
The Township Tax Collector elected at the regular municipal election in the year 2013, and all Township Tax Collectors elected thereafter while this article is in effect, shall receive a total annual salary of $10,000 for performance of all of that person's duties as Tax Collector of the Township, including but not limited to the following:
A. 
Collection of Township real estate taxes levied annually.
B. 
Processing of filed real estate taxes remitted to the Township Tax Collector by the County Treasurer.
C. 
Collection of local service tax (LST) levied by the Township.
D. 
Handling all other moneys and funds received, collected by said person or payable to the Township during the calendar year.
In addition to the above payments, the Township Tax Collector, as collector of Township taxes, shall be allowed such actual printing, postage and other miscellaneous expenses as shall be incurred in performing the above-enumerated duties and any other duties prescribed for said person under the Local Tax Collection Act of 1945, as amended.
