The Township Engineer shall be responsible to Council and shall
account to Council as the Administration Committee shall determine.
The Engineer's duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
(a) Performance of such duties as the Council shall prescribe as to construction,
reconstruction, maintenance and repair of all streets, roads, pavements,
sewers, bridges, culverts and other engineering work.
(b) Preparation of plans, specifications and estimates of all such work
undertaken by the Township.
(c) Furnishing Council with reports, information or estimates on any
Township engineering work or on questions submitted by any Council
member in his or her official capacity.
(d) Immediately after the completion of any Municipal improvement, the
cost of which, in whole or in part, is to be paid by the owner of
the abutting property, making a certificate in which he or she shall
state the day or time on which the particular improvement was completed
and filing the same with the Township Secretary in a book kept by
the Secretary for said purpose.
