No person shall place or cause to be placed, any leg, brace, or other temporary support for any backhoe, crane, derrick, or similar type equipment upon any public street or sidewalk surface within the Borough of Kenhorst, without first placing adequate pads, planks, mats, or other protection under any such leg, brace, or other temporary support for said equipment whenever such leg, brace, or other temporary support would otherwise rest upon the street or sidewalk surface.
No person shall use or operate, or permit to be used or operated, any vehicle with metal cleats or metal treads upon any public street or sidewalk surface in said Borough without first placing adequate protection on said cleats, or treads, or without first placing pads, planks, mats, or similar protective material between said street or sidewalk surface and said cleats or treads.

Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of this article shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, Article I, Enforcement; General Penalty, of this Code.
