City of East Orange, NJ Article VI Community Relations Specialist in Fire Department

§ 55-23 Position created. [1]

There is hereby created and designated the position of Community Relations Specialist. The Community Relations Specialist shall be appointed by the East Orange Fire Department and confirmed by the Mayor.

§ 55-24 Duties and responsibilities.

The Community Relations Specialist, under supervision, shall perform the following duties and responsibilities:

A. Act as community liaison.

B. Act as spokesperson of the East Orange Fire Department and prepare press releases.
