Those certain documents, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as "The International Building Code/2006", "The International Fire Code/2006", "The International Plumbing Code/2006", "The International Mechanical Code/2006", "The International Property Maintenance Code/2006", "The International Fuel Gas Code/2006", "The International Energy Conservation Code/2000", "The International Private Sewage Disposal Code/2000", "The International Residential Code/2006", all as published by the International Code Council, and the "National Electrical Code, 1999 Edition", as published by the National Fire Protection Association are hereby adopted as the respective Codes of the City of Pevely, Missouri, as if fully set out herein.
A. 
The following Sections of the International Building Code/2006 are hereby revised as follows:
Section 101.1
Insert: City of Pevely.
Section 105.2
Remove numbers "1, 2 and 6".
Section 1612.3
Insert "City of Pevely" and "April 5, 2006".
Section 3410.2
Insert "January 1, 1976".
B. 
The following Sections of the International Residential Code/2006 are hereby revised as follows:
Section 101.1
Insert "City of Pevely".
Section 105.2
Remove numbers "1, 2 and 5".
Table 302.2(1)
Insert the following: 20 lbs., 90 mph, D (zero), Severe, 30", Moderate to heavy, 94 degrees, yes, April 6, 2006, 800, 55 degrees.
Section 2603.6.1
Insert "30 inches".
Section 3103.1
Insert "36 inches".
Adopt the following appendixes:

Certain documents, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as "Rules and Regulations and Design Requirements for Sanitary Sewage and Stormwater Drainage Facilities/1997" prepared by Metropolitan Sewer District is hereby adopted as the Standard Construction Specifications for Sewers and Drainage Facilities for the City of Pevely, Missouri.

Certain documents, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as "St. Louis County Standard Specifications for Highway Construction" prepared by the St. Louis County Department of Highways and Traffic, 1980, is hereby adopted as the Standard Specifications for Highway Construction for the City of Pevely, Missouri.
A. 
Whenever in any code adopted herein or any other ordinance of the City, or in any rule, regulation, notice or order promulgated by any officer or agency of the City under authority duly vested in him/her or it, any act is prohibited or is declared to be unlawful or an offense, misdemeanor or ordinance violation or the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful or an offense or a misdemeanor or ordinance violation, and no specific penalty is provided for the violation thereof, upon conviction of a violation of any such provision of this Code or of any such ordinance, rule, regulation, notice or order, the violator shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the City or County Jail not exceeding ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment; provided, that in any case wherein the penalty for an offense is fixed by a Statute of the State, the statutory penalty, and no other, shall be imposed for such offense, except that imprisonments may be in the City prison or workhouse instead of the County Jail.
B. 
Every day any violation of any code adopted herein or any other ordinance or any such rule, regulation, notice or order shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
C. 
Whenever any act is prohibited by the codes adopted herein, by an amendment thereof, or by any rule or regulation adopted thereunder, such prohibition shall extend to and include the causing, securing, aiding or abetting of another person to do said act. Whenever any act is prohibited by the codes adopted herein, an attempt to do the act is likewise prohibited.
