A. 
The 2021 International Fuel Gas Code, published by the International Code Council is hereby adopted as the fuel gas code for the City of Kennett, Missouri, by reference as if fully set forth herein. A copy of said code is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
B. 
Upon a conviction of a violation of any provision of the code adopted herein, the violator shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the City or County Jail not exceeding ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.

The International Energy Conservation Code, 2012 Edition, published by the International Code Council is hereby adopted as the energy conservation code for the City of Kennett, Missouri, by reference as if fully set forth herein. A copy of said code is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
