A. Whenever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers
the street or highway, no vehicle shall be parked on the side of any
street on which the even-numbered houses are located during odd-numbered
years and no vehicle shall be parked on the side of any street on
which the odd-numbered houses are located during even-numbered years.

B. The above parking prohibitions shall remain in effect after the snow
has ceased until the streets have been plowed sufficiently and to
the extent that parking will not interfere with the normal flow of
traffic.
C. The accumulation of four or more inches of snow on any street or
highway in the Borough of Mount Ephraim shall constitute a snow emergency,
which necessitates the parking requirements provided in this section.
D. The parking requirements provided in this section shall not be contingent upon a declaration of any emergency or posting of emergency no-parking signs. Notwithstanding §
410-18, the effectiveness of this section is not contingent upon signs being erected or posted.
Any unoccupied vehicle parked or standing in violation of this
article shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace to the safe and proper
regulation of traffic, and any peace officer may provide for the removal
of such vehicle. The owner shall pay the reasonable costs of the removal
and storage which may result from such removal, before regaining possession
of the vehicle.
The effectiveness of this article is contingent on signs being
erected as required by law.
