Pursuant to the authority contained in § 6.27 of the Wisconsin Statutes, the City hereby elects to require registration of electors. The Council further elects to delegate control of the elector registration within the City to the City Clerk.
In accordance with the provisions of § 7.30, Wisconsin Statutes, the City Clerk is authorized to select alternate officials, or two sets of officials, to work at different times on election day. In the event the City Clerk elects to select alternate officials or two sets of officials to work at different times on election day, the additional officials shall be appointed in such a manner that the total number of officials is an odd number and the predominant party under the provisions of § 7.30(2), Wis. Stats., is represented by one more official than the other party.
A. 
Location of polls. The polling place for all official elections in the City of Lake Mills, whether a general election, primary election or special election, shall be located in the Community Center in the Lake Mills Municipal Building, 200 Water Street.
B. 
The polling place shall be opened at 7:00 a.m. and closed at 8:00 p.m. on election days; provided, however, that any voter awaiting his or her turn to vote, whether within the polling booth or in the line outside the booth at the time of the closing of the polls, shall be permitted to vote.

The City shall be divided into two Council Districts, which shall consist of the following wards:
A. 
Council District 1: Ward 1, Ward 4, Ward 5, Ward 8.
B. 
Council District 2: Ward 2, Ward 3, Ward 6, Ward 7.
The ward boundaries as described in § 59-4 and detailed on the map, designated as "Exhibit A," are incorporated by reference. Said map shall be and remain on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The census blocks that make up each ward are depicted in "Exhibit B."[1]
