GENERAL REFERENCES
Town meetings — See Ch. 84.
The election of Town officers and the determination of such
matters as are required by law to be determined by secret ballot shall
be held on the second Tuesday in April. The polls shall be opened
no later than 7:00 a.m. and shall remain open until 8:00 p.m.
Notice of election of Town officers shall be posted by the Chief
of Police or any other designated police officer of the Town in no
less than seven public places, including the Post Office, and not
less than 20 samples of the election warrant shall be left in each
of the public places for distribution at least seven days before the
date fixed for the election.
