The office of Borough Secretary and the office of Borough Treasurer
may hereafter be held by the same person when so directed by the Borough
Council of the Borough of Wellsboro.

An office of Assistant Borough Secretary and Assistant Borough
Treasurer may be created when so directed by the Borough Council of
the Borough of Wellsboro.

Whenever a Borough Secretary, Assistant Borough Secretary, Borough
Treasurer or Assistant Borough Treasurer or appointed employee of
the Borough is required by law or by action of the Borough Council
to give bond for the faithful performance of his duties, the Borough
shall pay the premium thereon.
