Article IV of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Code[1] ("MPC") authorizes the Board of Supervisors to adopt an Official Map for the Township designating and reserving areas for future streets, parks and open spaces, and other municipal facilities.

The Board of Supervisors of the Township of Leacock hereby adopts that map prepared by the Lancaster County Planning Commission staff in concert with the Leacock Township Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein[1] indicating future street locations, intersections, improvements, recreational lands within the Township as the Official Map of the Township of Leacock.

The proper officials of the Township are authorized to take all steps necessary to record the Official Map in the office of the Recorder of Deeds in and for Lancaster County as required by Section 402 of the MPC.[1] The proper officials of the Township are further authorized to transmit certified copies of the Official Map to those entities required to be provided with copies by the MPC.

In the event any provision, section, sentence, clause, or part of this chapter shall be held to be invalid, illegal, or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity, illegality, or unconstitutionality shall not affect or impair the remaining provisions, sections, sentences, clauses, or parts of this chapter, it being the intent of the Board of Supervisors that the remainder of the chapter shall be and shall remain in full force and effect.
This chapter shall take effect and be in force five days after its enactment by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Leacock as provided by law.
