A. 
The Borough of Paulsboro permits employees, who receive health care benefits as a dependent of their spouse to waive coverage and receive an incentive.
B. 
In accordance with state law, for employees hired after May 21, 2010, or existing employees entering new contracts after May 21, 2010, the incentive cannot exceed the lesser of $5,000 or 25% of the amount saved by the Borough because of the waiver of benefits.
The Borough of Paulsboro permits an employee, who has waived coverage under the provisions of this law, to immediately resume health coverage if they lose their coverage as a dependent.
The Borough reserves the right to rescind this article should it become fiscally imprudent to continue.
