Each Supervisor of East Earl Township elected or appointed to office on or after the effective date of this Part shall receive compensation as a Supervisor in the annual amount of $2,500.
Such compensation shall be paid in semiannual or other convenient installments.

A. 
The elected or appointed Tax Collector of the Township of East Earl shall receive compensation of $0.50 per collected bill for real estate and interim real estate taxes and $0.50 per collected bill for streetlight assessment for the year 2001 and thereafter until such compensation is increased or decreased according to law.
B. 
In the event that the elected or appointed Tax Collector of the Township of East Earl is a current Township employee, the Tax Collector will receive the normal pay rate as opposed to the percentage of fees enumerated above.
C. 
The elected or appointed Tax Collector of the Township of East Earl shall also collect the real estate tax for the County of Lancaster. If the Tax Collector is not a County employee, the Tax Collector shall receive any commission paid. In the event that the Tax Collector is a Township employee, any commission paid for this duty will become a revenue to the Township and deposited into the Township general account.
