The audit of the accounts of the Borough of Oakdale, beginning
with the accounts for the fiscal year 1965, shall hereafter be made
by an auditor who shall be either a person or firm of certified or
independent public accountants.
The auditor shall be appointed by the members of the Council,
to serve from year to year, until replaced by action of the members
of the Council.
The compensation of the auditors shall be fixed by the members
of the Council.
The appointed auditors shall have and possess all the powers
and perform all the duties for elected auditors.
The office of elected auditor is hereby abolished.
