The Supervisors of Salisbury Township may implement regulations governing the conduct of all persons using the public parks of Salisbury Township.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this chapter, or of the regulations promulgated hereunder, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before a Magisterial District Judge in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $1,000 nor more than $1,000, plus costs. Each day that a violation of this chapter continues or each section of this chapter which shall be found to have been violated shall constitute a separate offense.

It shall be unlawful for any person to violate any of the following list of rules within the limits of Salisbury Township parks and properties:
A. 
To allow dogs or other animals (except guide dogs and horses in a designated area).
B. 
To hunt for, shoot at, chase or catch any bird or animal (except muskrat with Township prior approval).
C. 
To swim, wade or bathe.
D. 
To discharge or allow the discharge within any Township property any firearms, as that term is defined by § 6120(b) of the Pennsylvania Uniform Firearms Act except for the justifiable use of force as authorized by Chapter 5 of the Pennsylvania Crimes Code. No person shall use or possess within any Township property any bow and arrow, sling shot, air rifle or any other device (other than firearms as defined above) capable of throwing any projectile of any sort, including the hand throwing of rocks or stones intended to be used as weapons. This section shall not be operative in any specific area now designated or to be designated in the future by the Township as a rifle range, archery range, or any other specific area whose purpose is to allow the activities otherwise prohibited by this section.

E. 
To drink brewed beverages, spirituous liquors, wine or any other controlled substance.
F. 
To break, cut, disturb, injure any flower, tree or shrub.
G. 
To deface or damage any bench, building, fence, sign, monuments or other structure, apparatus or property.
H. 
To remove any wood, turf, grass, soil, rock, sand or gravel.
I. 
To throw or deposit cans, bottles, broken glass, paper.
J. 
To place any cans, bottles, broken glass, paper or rubbish of any description, anywhere other than in the containers provided.
K. 
To make or kindle fire except in picnic stoves or designated areas.
L. 
To post or erect any bills, notices or advertising of any kind unless authorized by Salisbury Township.
M. 
To sell or offer for sale any merchandise or food unless authorized by Salisbury Township.
N. 
To engage in camping, archery, throwing stones or hitting golf balls.
O. 
To park any motor vehicle or horse-drawn vehicle in other than designated areas.
P. 
To violate any posted rules for picnic areas, tennis courts, hockey rinks, play fields or other recreational areas.
Q. 
To wash, polish or repair any motor vehicle. Disabled vehicles must be moved from Township properties.
R. 
To have any musical, theatrical or other entertainment in the park without Salisbury Township approval.
S. 
To commit any public nuisance.
T. 
To operate snowmobiles, mini-bikes, go-carts or any nonlicensed vehicle in the park.
U. 
To congregate in any area which will hamper the free movement of pedestrians.
V. 
To abandon any vehicle within the limits of the park.
W. 
To speak profanity of any type.
X. 
To have any organized group conduct activities of any kind without a permit from Salisbury Township.
Y. 
To fail to show identification or leave the park upon request of any official of Salisbury Township, the Park Board or Police.
Z. 
To use bicycles in any area other than parking areas.
AA. 
To use skateboards.
BB. 
To smoke in any buildings.
CC. 
Closing time. All public parks and playgrounds owned, operated, maintained or supported by Salisbury Township shall be closed between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. No person, other than authorized Supervisors, police or similar personnel shall be at the parks between such hours except when such parks are being used for special events, which have been scheduled and are supervised. In such cases, the closing time shall be 1/2 hour after the event has ended, but no later than 12:00 midnight.
DD. 
To sell any merchandise, food or beverage in the park without Salisbury Township's approval.
EE. 
To permit any fireworks, mechanical launching devices, explosives, sparklers, rockets, etc. without the permission of the Township Supervisors.[1]
