The authority now existing in the County Legislature to authorize attendance of County employees at conferences, schools, conventions and meetings is hereby delegated and vested in the Chair of the County Legislature to authorize attendance of County employees at conferences, schools, conventions and meetings without any further resolutions or authority from the County Legislature; and this pursuant to County Law Article 9, § 450, Subdivision 3(c), the Chair of this Legislature is hereby delegated the powers to authorize attendance at conferences and schools for the betterment of County government including the powers to specify the name of the conference or school and the person or persons to attend according to an acceptable method of accounting for same.
This article shall take effect the first day of February 1966.
