It is hereby intended to change the position of part-time County Attorney to a full-time position in County Government of the County of Cayuga.
The full-time County Attorney shall be appointed by and be under the supervision of the Cayuga County Legislature and, on a day-to-day basis, the Chair of the Cayuga County Legislature.
In accordance to County law, the Cayuga County Legislature shall appoint a resident attorney at law as County Attorney for the term of office for which the then members of such board were elected. In any County having no resident attorney at law available, the Board may employ an attorney at law residing in another county.
