The regulations of this article shall apply to all nonconforming
uses and structures within the Village of Churchville.
Any legal nonconforming use or structure existing at the time
of the passage of this chapter may be continued, except as hereinafter
provided.
A nonconforming use may be changed to a permitted use or more
restricted use. Once changed to a conforming use or to a more restricted
use, such use thereafter shall not revert to a nonconforming use or
less restricted use.
Nothing herein shall be deemed to prevent keeping in good repair
a nonconforming structure or restoration to a safe condition of any
structure declared unsafe by the CEO.
Nothing herein shall be construed so as to prevent the compliance
of an existing multifamily dwelling with the New York State Multiple
Residence Law.
