This article shall be known as and may be referred to as the
"Prohibition of Marihuana Establishments Ordinance."
The purpose of this article is to prohibit marihuana establishments
in the City of Royal Oak, pursuant to Initiated Law 1 of 2018, MCLA
§ 333.27951 et seq., as may be amended.
Words used herein shall be defined as provided in Initiated
Law 1 of 2018, MCLA § 333.27951 et seq., as may be amended.

The City of Royal Oak hereby completely prohibits marihuana
establishments within the boundaries of the City, pursuant to Initiated
Law 1 of 2018, MCLA § 333.27951 et seq., as may be amended,
until December 1, 2020.
A person who violates this article is guilty of a misdemeanor
punishable by a fine of not more than $500 and/or 90 days in jail.
