The selectmen shall annually engage a reliable person as superintendent for the supervision of the town hall, including all rooms in the edifice, and of the land and appurtenances thereto belonging to the Town and of all property of the Town contained therein. The superintendent shall have care of the building, keeping it clean and in order, and be in attendance whenever the building is open for use. The selectmen shall fix the price to be paid for the use of the town hall and other rooms in the building and make regulations for their use unless the Town otherwise orders in special cases.
Applications for the use of the town hall or other rooms shall be made to the selectmen. All permits to use the town hall shall be in writing, directed to the superintendent and signed by one or more of the selectmen.
The selectmen may direct one or more constables or police officers to be present in or about the building whenever in their judgment the preservation of peace and good order may require it. Whenever any constable or police officer is employed, the expense shall be paid by the persons using the hall or other rooms.

All conveyances of property executed by the Town pursuant to a vote of the Town or otherwise shall be sealed with the town seal and subscribed by a majority of the board of selectmen.
The town clerk shall keep in a book kept for such purposes alone a true copy of all deeds or other instruments executed by the selectmen in accordance with the provisions of this bylaw.
It shall be the duty of the town clerk to see that every conveyance to the Town of any interest in land is properly recorded in the registry of deeds.

The board of selectmen may sell Town property having a value of $17,870 and indexed to annual increases adjusted by the CPI-U for the previous calendar year or less and acquired through foreclosure of tax titles. The board of selectmen is authorized without further vote of the Town to execute and deliver deeds conveying such property in the name of and on behalf of the Town.
