The Board of Supervisors herein establishes the Barness Tennis and Swim Club Advisory Council.

A. 
The Committee shall consist of nine members as enumerated below:
(1) 
Warrington Township Park and Recreation Board Members: two, until a Park and Recreation Director is hired and then there will be one Park and Recreation Board member and the Park and Recreation Manager.
(2) 
Barness Swim Club members or township residents: seven.
B. 
One member of the Board of Supervisors shall serve as Committee liaison, and the Township Manager may appoint a member of Township staff as staff liaison.
The members shall be appointed by the Board of Supervisors and shall serve at the pleasure of the Board. Members may be removed at any time, for any reason or for no reason. If a member's term of office on a board, commission or council shall expire and the term of office on this Committee shall automatically terminate. Members of the Board shall serve without compensation but shall be entitled to be reimbursed for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred in furtherance of business on behalf of the Township. However, members shall be reimbursed for expenses actually and necessarily incurred by him/her in the performance of his/her duties, provided said expenses are approved in advance by the Township Manager.
The Barness Tennis and Swim Club Advisory Council shall be charged with the following tasks:
A. 
Establish an effective marketing strategy;
B. 
Outreach to other organizations for revenue enhancement;
C. 
Consider possible name change (Mary Barness must be included in name);
D. 
Evaluate fee structure for membership;
E. 
Recommend new programming to attract more revenue;
F. 
Consider and recommend facility improvements;
G. 
Review existing policies and procedurals;
H. 
Consider and recommend new amenities to attract new members;
I. 
Perform such other services as shall be requested, from time to time, by the Board of Supervisors.
J. 
Other items that the Steering Committee determines are necessary.
The Committee shall meet at minimum, once per month and shall provide a written report to the Park and Recreation Board following the meeting.
