It is in the best interest of the Borough of Cape May Point
to establish a Policy and Procedures Manual in order that the employees
of the Borough are aware of established policies and procedures to
handle the day to day operation of the Borough.

The Board of Commissioners authorized and commissioned the preparation
of a Policy and Procedures Manual for the Borough of Cape May Point.

The Policy and Procedures Manual which is attached hereto and
specifically made a part hereof by reference is adopted as the Policy
and Procedures Manual of the Borough of Cape May Point. The Policy
and Procedures Manual shall be found on file in the Office of the
Municipal Clerk.

The Policy and Procedures Manual may be amended as provided
by law.

The requisite officials of the Borough are hereby authorized
to execute any further documents in furtherance hereof.

The preface to this ordinance adopting the Policy and Procedures
Manual is included herein as if set forth in full.

All ordinances or parts of ordinances conflicting herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

Should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of
the Policy and Procedures Manual be declared unconstitutional or invalid
for any reason, the remaining portions of the Policy and Procedures
Manual shall not be affected thereby and shall remain in full force
and effect, and to this end the provisions of the Policy and Procedures
Manual are hereby declared to be severable.
