It shall be unlawful for any person to park any travel trailer upon any street, alley or highway or other public place, or upon any private premises, whether occupied or unoccupied, within the Village outside of a licensed mobile home park, except as provided in this chapter.
Emergency or temporary stopping or parking of a travel trailer is permitted on any street, alley or highway for not longer than two hours subject to any other and further prohibitions, regulations or limitations imposed by the traffic and parking regulations or ordinances.
Travel trailers may be parked upon private lots or tracts of land subject to the following limitations:
A.
No travel trailer shall be parked on any private lot or tract of land for a period exceeding 30 days.
B.
Such travel trailer shall be used for sleeping purposes only.
C.
No cooking of any kind shall be permitted in such travel trailer at any time.
D.
Electrical outlets for such travel trailer may be provided, but the installation shall be in compliance with Village electrical regulations. No connected electrical extension cords shall lie on the ground or be suspended less than seven feet from the ground. Electrical cords buried in the ground are permissible.
Travel trailer owners may store their own travel trailers upon their own premises, subject to the limitations imposed in the preceding § 939-28; provided, however, that the thirty-day maximum shall not apply thereto.
