Unless otherwise specifically provided elsewhere in this Code
or in ordinances of the City that are a subject of enforcement, any
person violating any provision of this Code shall, upon conviction,
be fined not less than $100 nor more than $750. Further, upon conviction,
such person may be assessed such other and further or different penalty
as 65 ILCS 5/1-2-1 of the Illinois Municipal Code, as from time to
time in effect, shall authorize, including the performance of public
service work. Each day on which a violation occurs or continues shall
be a separate offense.
