It shall be unlawful for any person to block any railroad crossing
in the city for more than seven minutes by driving or stopping thereon
any locomotive, railroad car, train or other vehicle.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this Article shall,
upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than
$500 or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to
move railroad freight cars and locomotives into, out of or through
private property within the city limits of the City of South Amboy
between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
The term "private property" shall not include railroad terminals,
interchanges or facilities for the interchange of cars between railroads.
Nothing contained herein shall be construed to be an attempt
to limit, regulate or prohibit the use of railroad trackage or trains,
either passenger or freight, except as specifically set forth in this
Article.
