The following words shall have the meaning set forth herein:
All areas of the streets, alleys and parking spaces within
the legal rights-of-way of the Borough of Trappe.
Those activities which are required to keep a motor vehicle
in proper running condition or to maintain a good cosmetic appearance,
including, but not limited to, vehicle exterior washing and waxing,
vehicle interior cleaning and vacuuming, and the replacement of exterior
parts, such as wiper blades, headlights, parking, brake lights and
taillights and antennas.
Any work on a motor vehicle which involves the disassembly
or replacement of any part of the body, engine or drivetrain of a
motor vehicle or requires the lifting of any wheel of the motor vehicle
off the ground.
A.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to perform
any repair on any motor vehicle in the cartway of the Borough of Trappe.
B.
Maintenance, as defined in this article, is permitted, provided such
maintenance activities pose no nuisance or safety hazard to the general
public.
C.
No vehicle while being maintained shall be left unattended.
