Election and term. The Mayor shall be elected for a term of three
years. Two Alderpersons shall be elected from each aldermanic district,
with one from each district to be elected each year for a term of
two years. Such terms shall commence as provided by law.
Salaries. The annual salary paid to the Mayor and Alderpersons shall
be determined by resolution. Mayor and Alderperson salaries shall
be paid only when ordered by a vote of three-fourths of all the members
of the Council. The compensation for an elective City office shall
be established before the earliest time for filing nomination papers
for the office. After that time, no change may be made in the compensation
for the office that applies to the term of office for which the deadline
applies. The compensation established for an elective office remains
in effect for ensuing terms unless changed.

Election and term. The Municipal Judge shall be elected in even-numbered years for a term of four years as provided in Chapter 26, Court, Joint Municipal.
