In non-owner occupied (rental) space that are located below
grade or partially below grade as part of an overall moisture control
system the code official may require the owner to
provide dehumidification equipment for use in the effected space if
it is determined by the code official that the ambient
moisture is contributing to possible mold or mildew growth. The owner
shall supply the equipment for use to the resident at no cost to the
resident.
