A. 
The Township has determined it best to enter into an intergovernmental agreement ("agreement") attached to this article[1] with the Manheim Township School District to form a joint committee to coordinate and oversee the sharing of recreational facilities.

B. 
The term of the agreement is indefinite.
C. 
The purpose and obligations of the agreement are as provided in the agreement.
D. 
The responsibility for costs concerning the obligations under the agreement are as set forth in the agreement.
E. 
The agreement does not provide for the formation of any entity or new organizational structure apart from the formation of a joint committee as set forth in agreement.
F. 
No real or personal property will be acquired pursuant to the agreement.
G. 
No entity is empowered to enter into contracts for policies for group insurance and employee benefits, including social security, for employees, under the agreement.
The agreement is hereby approved on behalf of the Township, and the appropriate officers thereof shall execute and deliver the agreement on behalf of the Township.
The Township's obligation to enter into the agreement and its obligations under the agreement are expressly conditioned upon approval and execution thereof by the Township.
