A. 
The proper elected and appointed officials of Brentwood Borough are hereby authorized to issue, adopt and deliver to Municipal Risk Management, Inc. (MRM), the following documents:
(1) 
The Municipal Risk Management Workmens' Compensation Pooled Trust Agreement ("the Trust agreement").
(2) 
The MRM Trust Participant Application.
B. 
The MRM Trust Agreement and the MRM Participant Application are attached hereto as Exhibits A and B, respectively, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference in this Article.[1]

A. 
The duration of the term of the Trust agreement will be four years from the date of Brentwood's admission to the Trust as a participant.
B. 
The purposes and objectives of the Trust as stated in the Trust Agreement are set forth in the Trust agreement in Article V, Section 5.01, of the Trust agreement.
The powers and scope of authority delegated are as set forth in various specific sections and in various specific provisions of Articles II, V, VI, VIII and IX, of the Trust agreement.
Funds for meeting Brentwood Borough's obligations under the Trust agreement may be appropriated from the general funds of Brentwood Borough, or from any other source deemed appropriate by Brentwood Borough Council and lawful under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The organizational structure employed to implement the Agreement may include the Trust, the Board of Trustees, service agents and fiscal agents as described in the provisions of the Trust agreement.
Property acquired for purposes of the Trust shall be acquired, managed and disposed of pursuant to the provisions of the Trust agreement.
The Trust shall be empowered to enter into contracts for policies of group insurance and employee benefits, including social security for employees of the Trust.
