Any person found to be violating any provision of this Part of this chapter except § 161-31, which requires immediate arrest, shall be served by the Township with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in such notice, permanently cease all such violation.
Any person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided for in § 161-36 hereof or shall violate § 161-31 hereof may, upon conviction thereof, be fined in an amount not exceeding $200 for each such violation. Each day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense. In default of the payment of such fine, the person convicted may be imprisoned in the county jail for a term not exceeding 60 days. The Judge before whom any violator of this Part of this chapter shall be convicted shall have the power to impose the fine, or term of imprisonment in default of payment of said fine, not exceeding the maximums fixed by this Part.
