The purpose of this article is to prevent any
obstruction or interference with the use of all roads and highways
within the Town of LaGrange for public travel; to prevent any obstruction
interference with the construction, reconstruction or maintenance
of such roads and highways; to facilitate the clearing and removal
of snow and ice from such roads and highways; and to prevent any obstruction
or interference with any operation of the Town Highway Department
during public emergencies.
For the purpose of this article, the following
terms shall have the meanings indicated:
VEHICLE
Any motor vehicle, trailer or wheeled conveyance.

A violation of this article is hereby declared
to be an offense, and a person violating the same may, upon conviction,
be fined by a fine not to exceed $250 or by imprisonment not to exceed
15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

For purposes of enforcement of §
226-14 of this article, the Superintendent of Highways, and any Deputy Superintendent, any law enforcement agency that has jurisdiction in the Town of LaGrange, or their duly authorized representative, shall have the authority to issue appearance tickets under Article 150 of the Criminal Procedure Law.
