A. The Morrisville Fire Company, Station 98, organized and existing
in the Borough of Morrisville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is hereby designated
as the officially recognized fire company for the Borough, and Council further
acknowledges its new motto: “Preserving the past and protecting the
future.”
B. The authorized activities of the Morrisville Fire Company, Station
98, shall hereafter be as follows:
(1) To provide such services to the Borough as may be necessary for
the protection of property and persons situate therein, which include, by
way of example and not of limitation, the extinguishment and prevention of
loss of life and property from fire, automobile accidents, medical emergencies,
hazardous material incidents, and other dangerous situations.
(2) To provide non-emergency and public service functions, such as,
again by example and not limitation, removing water from property after storms,
and assisting in the removal, abatement and prevention of damage or injury
to persons or property, whether through natural causes or man-made situations.
(3) To conduct and participate in such training activities and drills,
either within or outside of the Borough, as may be deemed necessary by the
officers of the company to maintain proficiency in providing services.
(4) To respond to calls and provide services to municipalities outside
the corporate limits of the Borough either in a first due or mutual aid response.
C. The authorized activities of the members of the Morrisville Fire
Company, Station 98, shall hereafter be as follows:
(1) To participate in the activities of the fire company as authorized
above.
(2) To engage in any type of drill, training, ceremony, practice,
test or parade when duly called for or authorized by an officer or officers
of the fire company.
(3) To engage in fund raising activities for the fire company, when
authorized by an officer or officers of the fire company.
(4) To engage in the performance of any other duty or activity authorized
by any officer of the recognized fire company.

The aforesaid Firemen's Relief Association of Morrisville, Pennsylvania,
be and they are hereby designated by Borough Council of the Borough of Morrisville
as the proper Associations to receive such funds as are due and payable to
the Borough Treasury by the Treasurer of the State of Pennsylvania, from the
2% tax on premiums from foreign fire insurance companies. Each Association
shall receive 50% of the available funds.

There is hereby annually appropriated from the Borough Treasury all
such sums of money that may hereafter be paid into the aforesaid Borough Treasury
by the Treasurer of the State of Pennsylvania, on account of taxes paid on
premiums by foreign fire insurance companies in pursuance to an Act of Assembly
in such case made and provided.
