Whenever used in this article, unless a different meaning appears from the context, the following words shall have the meanings indicated:
AUTOMOBILE TRAILER, TRAILER COACH OR TRAILER
Any vehicle or structure so designed and constructed in such manner as will permit occupancy thereof as sleeping quarters for one or more persons or the conduct of any business or profession, occupation or trade and so designed that it is or may be mounted on wheels and used as a conveyance on highways or streets, propelled or drawn by other motive power, except a device used exclusively upon stationary rails or tracks.
TRAILER CAMP
Any park, trailer park, trailer court, court, camp, site, lot, parcel or tract of land designed, maintained or intended for the purpose of supplying a location or accommodations for any automobile trailer, trailer coach or trailer, where the owner, lessee or person, firm or corporation having control thereof shall offer location or accommodations by lease, contract, agreement or otherwise, and shall include all buildings used or intended for use as part of the equipment thereof. The term "trailer camp" shall not include automobile or trailer sales lots on which unoccupied trailers are parked for purposes of inspection and sale.
UNIT
A section of ground in a trailer camp of not less than 800 square feet of unoccupied space in an area designated as the location for only one automobile and one trailer.
A. 
Within the limits of the Township of Brick, no person shall conduct or carry on the business of the operation of a trailer camp or campsite in any manner whatsoever unless and until there shall have been granted by the Township Council of the Township of Brick, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this article, a license to conduct said trailer camp and campsite for the places and premises in or at which the same shall be conducted and carried on.
B. 
A license to conduct or operate a trailer camp or campsite shall be issued to the owner or lessee thereof upon application to the Township Council. The application for a license or renewal thereof shall be made on forms furnished by the Township Clerk and shall include the name and address of the owner in fee of the tract if the fee is vested in some person other than the applicant, and such a legal description of the premises upon which the trailer camp is located as will readily identify and definitely locate the premises. The application shall be accompanied by two copies of the camp plan showing the following:
(1) 
The extent and area used for camp purposes.
(2) 
Roadways and driveways.
(3) 
The location of sites or units for trailer coaches.
(4) 
The location and number of sanitary conveniences, including toilets, washrooms, laundry rooms and utility rooms to be used by occupants of units.
(5) 
The method and plan of sewage disposal.
(6) 
The plan for water supply.
(7) 
The plan for furnishing electrical power to units.
C. 
There shall be charged and collected for each license so issued an annual fee at the rate of $30 for each unit, as heretofore defined, contained in said premises. Said fee shall be payable at the time of the issuance of said license.
A. 
Any license issued under the terms of this article confers no right to erect any building or to perform any electrical or plumbing work.
B. 
Every such trailer camp or campsite shall be equipped with an adequate supply of pure drinking water, said water supply to be obtained from faucets.
C. 
There shall be provided in every trailer camp and campsite adequate sanitary accommodations and toilet facilities which will assure privacy of the sexes. All such toilets shall be the flush type and shall be properly connected to adequate sewage disposal units.
D. 
The licensed premises shall at all times comply with all proper police, fire and health regulations imposed by law or ordinance. Said premises shall be subject to inspection at reasonable times by the proper local and state authorities.
E. 
Each licensee shall submit to the Township Clerk, on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, written reports, which reports shall show and set forth the occupancy status of such trailer camp and campsite and which shall specifically include all arrivals and departures of trailers and occupants of such trailer camp or campsite.
F. 
No trailer camp or campsite now licensed and existing in the Township of Brick shall be permitted to expand its total present area of ground space.
G. 
Except as presently allowed and permitted, no additional trailer camps or campsites shall be permitted or licensed in the Township of Brick.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalties as provided in Chapter 1, § 1-15, General penalty, in the discretion of the court before which such conviction shall be had. Each day a particular violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
