This chapter shall be known and may be cited
as "The Land Subdivision Chapter of the Township of Lebanon."
There is hereby ordained by the Township Committee
a chapter establishing rules, regulations and standards governing
the subdivision of land within the Township pursuant to the authority
set forth in the Municipal Land Use Law, Chapter 291 of the Laws of
1975, and amendments and supplements thereto; setting forth the procedure to be followed by the Planning
Board in applying and administering these rules, regulations and standards;
and providing penalties for the violation thereof. The purpose of
this chapter shall be to provide rules, regulations and standards
to guide land subdivision in the Township in order to promote the
public health, safety, convenience and general welfare of the Township
and to carry out the objectives of the Municipal Land Use Law. It
shall be administered to insure the orderly growth and development,
the conservation, protection and proper use of land and adequate provisions
for circulation, utilities, and services, and the conservation and
environmental protection of all land, water and air resources within
the jurisdiction of Lebanon Township.
The provisions of this chapter shall be administered
by the Township Planning Board in accordance with the Municipal Land
Use Law, Chapter 291, P.L. 1975, as amended and supplemented.
