The Office of the Prosecutor shall be headed
by the Prosecutor who shall be an attorney at law of the state and
qualified by training and experience.
The Office of the Prosecutor shall conduct prosecutions
for crimes and offenses over which the Municipal Court of Hillside
has jurisdiction.
The Prosecutor shall be appointed by the Mayor,
with consent of Council, for a term of one year.
The Office of Prosecutor shall be organized pursuant to plan approved as provided in § 4-9 of this chapter.
