As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
HAMBURGER, CHOPPED MEAT, GROUND MEAT OR CHOPPED OR GROUND BEEF OR BEEF PATTIES
Chopped or ground beef with or without the addition of beef fat as such and seasoning.
PERSON
Includes corporations and copartnerships as well as individuals.
No person shall distribute or sell or have in his possession with intent to distribute or sell any hamburger, chopped meat, ground meat or chopped or ground beef or beef patties which shall contain therein more than thirty percent (30%) beef fat or any meat other than beef.
No person shall distribute or sell or have in his possession with intent to distribute or sell any meat or meat product to which any sodium sulfite, sodium bisulfite or any drug, chemical, chemical compound or preservative, from which sulfur dioxide can be liberated, has been added thereto or mixed therewith.
Any person or persons who shall fail to comply with or violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, pay a a fine of not less than five dollars ($5.) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.).
