All licenses, except dog licenses, issued or
which may hereafter be issued under the authority of the laws and
ordinances of the City of Albany shall continue in force from the
date thereof until the first day of May next succeeding the date of
issuance.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent
with this article are hereby repealed.
