A. 
Except for City-approved events, playground areas, recreational/sporting facilities, and all Oswego City parks shall be closed to all persons from sunset to sunrise. Walking through the paved walkways for purposes of travel through parks is not prohibited.
B. 
Camping in City parks and playgrounds, streets, and public rights-of-way is prohibited without a permit. Camping shall include, without limitation, the following activities: establishing, using, or maintaining any camp or other temporary lodging or place for the purpose of sleeping, and/or using of personal belongings, including but not limited to one or more of the following: tents, vehicles, bags, carts, cushions, blankets, pillows or objects used as pillows, sleeping bags, or bedding for purposes of lodging, or sleeping, or making preparations to sleep.
C. 
Tampering with or using municipal outlets to obtain electrical power without permission from the City of Oswego is prohibited.
City parks and playgrounds shall include, without limitation, the following: American Legion Park, Breitbeck Park, Cahill Pier, Sheldon Beach Park (Flatrock), Fort Ontario State Historic Site, Franklin Square Park, Hamilton Park, Lakeside Park, Montcalm Park, Oak Hill Park, Oswego Dog Park, Oswego Skate Park, Rotary Park, Shapiro Park, Kingsford Park, Fitzhugh Park, Fredrick Leighton, Peglow Park/Riley School, Veteran's Memorial Park, Washington Square Park, Riverfront Linear Park East, Riverfront Linear Park West, Wright's Landing Marina, sporting/recreational fields and all other current or hereafter established City parks and playgrounds.
Any person committing a willful violation of the provisions of this chapter and found guilty of this offense shall be subject to a fine of not more than $100 or incarceration for not more than 15 days.
