No person shall throw stones or balls of ice
or snow or other dangerous missiles or shoot with or use a bow and
arrow, gun or air gun in a street or park or upon or from any bridge
or against any private house, structure or building, nor apply or
use any tick-a-tack or any device for the purpose of making a noise
on or against the same or the windows thereof. Any person violating
any of the provisions of this section shall be subject to a fine as
provided herein.
No person shall have in his possession a toy
pistol, crotch, rubber sling or other device for throwing missiles
of any kind, with intent to use the same to the injury of persons
or property, or to the annoyance or discomfort of any person upon
any street, park or public ground. Any person violating this section
is subject to a fine as provided herein.
No person or persons shall at any time play
ball or knock or drive any ball or play cricket, football, golf, tennis,
shinny or quoits or pitch pennies or other coins or raise or fly any
kite or balloon in or over any street, highway, lane or alley, wharf,
dock, bridge, park or public ground of this city without permission
of the Common Council. Any person violating this section shall be
subject to a fine as provided herein.
No person shall use any small or hand sled or
sled or sleigh without horses or bobsled or double-runner for the
amusement of sliding on any of the sidewalks or in any of the streets
in this city, except in such street or streets as may be set apart
by the Common Council for that purpose. Any person violating this
section shall be subject to a fine as provided herein.
